Current Hall Council Members: Position Change within a Hall Council

Communications Chair → Acting President

In the event that a Hall Council President resigns, the Communications Chair becomes the acting Hall Council President. The acting President should redistribute responsibilities among the remaining members in order to compensate for the Hall Council’s reduced size. The acting President will remain in that position until a new president is appointed. Once a new president is appointed, the acting President will automatically return to their role as Communications Chair. If the acting President wishes to become the permanent President, they should follow the steps in the following section.
