Make Every Hall A Home
Hall Councils
Overview
Each residence hall elects four people: a president, communications chair, programming chair, and finance chair. Together, Hall Councils host engaging events, advocate for the needs of their neighbors, and participate in campus-wide initiatives to make GW a better place.

Hall Councils have two primary responsibilities:
-
Programming: using RHA funding to host fun events to build a welcoming, inclusive community for all.
-
Advocacy: taking advantage of RHA's connections to GW administration to make positive change in areas such as facilities, dining, accessibility, and sustainability.
In addition to the work they do in their halls, RHA Hall Council members have the opportunity to plan campus-wide events, join advisory committees related to dining, housing registration, and safety, advocate for campus-wide initiatives, travel to regional and national conferences, and more.
