General Body Positions

President

  • Schedule at least two HC meetings each month (with the exception of one meeting in September and December)

    • Community Coordinator must be present at all HC meetings

  • Create HC meeting agendas and submit HC meeting minutes form

  • Lead a year long advocacy initiative within your respective hall

  • Work with the Programming Chair and Community Coordinator to plan one town hall per semester

  • Maintain consistent communication EB positional counterparts (Executive VP and Community Outreach Team)

Communications Chair

  • Create promotional materials–particularly posters and social media posts–for Hall Council events

    • Submit posters and social posts for approval

    • Create and post events to respective hall’s Engage page

    • Draft emails for CC to send out

  • Lead HC meetings when the President is absent

  • Maintain consistent communication EB positional counterpart (Communications Team)

Programming Chair

  • Plan at least one event each month for your hall (Mandatory Meet your Hall Council Res-Fest event)

    • Fill out the Program Form for event approval

    • Fill out a feedback form after your event concludes

  • Plan and help execute campus-wide events

    • Coordinate with other Hall Councils to plan large-scale events

  • Maintain consistent communication EB positional counterpart (Programming Team)

Finance Chair

  • Create full and complete budgets for HC programs

    • These will be for items (e.g. food) that you wish to order

    • Give the budget to your Programming Chair to submit with the event form

    • Follow Director of Finance guidelines regarding spending limit

  • Coordinate supplies reservation and pickup for all HC events

  • Complete the post-event tracking form after every Hall Council event

  • Maintain consistent communication EB positional counterparts (Finance and Operations Teams)

Committee Corps

The Committee Corps is a group of RHA members whose entire job is to serve on committees. Rather than having pre-assigned responsibilities, each Committee Corps member’s work is determined by the committee(s) of which they are a part. Committee Corps members may serve on one or more committees, and they may have the opportunity to become the chair or vice chair of a committee.
