The Advocacy and Outreach Committee works to increase RHA involvement in the GW community and beyond through events, service projects, and advocacy initiatives. Members should join if they have a passion for community service, advocacy for residents, and/or involvement in GW student organizations.

The Communications Committee works to foster a vibrant and informed community through dynamic and engaging communication. As the voice of the Residence Hall Association, we are dedicated to creating compelling content for our social media platforms that resonates with our audience, capturing memorable moments at RHA events through photography, ensuring these experiences are shared and celebrated, spreading vital information about our organization to keep our community well-informed and connected, promoting active engagement and a deeper understanding of RHA's mission and activities, and brainstorming innovative and impactful content ideas to continually enhance our social media presence.

The Member Engagement strives to bring resources and connections back to RHA members, aside from leadership skills they will gain through programming for their respective hall councils. This committee will connect members with leadership opportunities/set up personal development opportunities, plan GBs, kickoff, winter summit, and promote inclusive language/action within and outside of RHA.

The Programming Committee creates detailed premade events for hall councils, plans and support halls with inclusive-centered programming, facilitates multi-hall events, and plans social events for members. Members should join the Programming Committee if they have a passion for planning unique events that all members of RHA would enjoy and have a particular interest in what it means to coordinate and execute programs.

The National Affairs Committee represents GW RHA and NRHH at regional and national conferences by creating and presenting bids about RHA programming, leadership, and other initiatives. Members should join the committee if they want to strengthen their communication skills and travel (for free!) to fun leadership conferences with opportunities to connect with other student leaders around the country.
